Summer Challenge
Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer and I have a 3 week summer challenge for all my clients…
Summer is finally here…a time for graduation celebrations, weddings, happy hours and sunny afternoon lounging.
If I know my clientèle as well as I think I know you, you are delightful people that enjoy a few drinks (me included)…and I am not just talking about water.
Now the clients that I have had over the past couple years who have made the most progress are those who have combined strength training 2-3 times a week, cardio activity 6 days a week, AND reduced their daily calorie intake… of which alcohol has a significant impact.
Therefore, my challenge is this: choose 3 consecutive weeks this summer and let me know what they are so that I can encourage you along the way:
Week 1: Divide your alcohol intake in half and add a 20 minute walk after dinner every day.
Week 2: Choose 2 days out of 7 to drink half of your normal alcohol consumption, no alcohol for 5 days, and add a 30 minute walk after dinner every day.
Week 3: No alcohol…(and no "wining" allowed) add a 40 minute walk after dinner every day.
