Stop lights, TV commercials, and brushing your teeth…
What do all these things have in common? They are “Wellness Opportunities.” Set yourself a goal to do a certain number of sit ups during the commercials of your favorite TV show (our family does 24 push-ups at every commercial break while watching our favorite show, “24”) At a stop light, inhale deeply while bringing your shoulders up , then as you exhale, round them back and down into good posture. While brushing your teeth do side leg lifts (my sister-in-law does this while washing the dishes). Right now as you read this post pull your belly button in towards your spine…keep your abs tight. Making the most of daily activities will help to keep fitness on your mind, causing you to make the most out of “Wellness Opportunities.”
